Photo Compositing
Digital Image Manipulation
Photo compositing is the art of isolating, combining, and manipulating elements of multiple images to create a new unique composite work. It is what people generally consider “photoshopping” and can be utilized to create everything from advertising to fine art. When done successfully the composite image should appear seamless giving the viewer no indication it is not a single photograph. The image pictured is a composite portrait I created by combining Edward Norton and Brad Pitt. The result, an approximation of Tyler Durdan, their combined character from Fight Club.
Artistic Photo Restoration
Cleaned and Coloured
Digital image restoration is the process of using software to reconstruct or replace sections of an image damaged by time. Through cloning untouched areas, drawing in missing details, or adding elements from other photographs, the artist can slowly peel away the cracks, tears, fading, and discolouration, to reveal the original image. These galleries contain a selection of my personal colourized reconstructive works on a selection of historical and family photographs.

Personal Art Projects
In my free personal time I love to get hands on and create — whether it be paint, plaster, pixels, or paper, I am always interested in exploring new media and processes. This gallery features an array of my personal art projects.
